SOLD OUT

In celebration of Asian Heritage Month, you are invited to take part in a video viewing of the Chinese Canadian Museum’s exhibition The Paper Trail, followed by a discussion with curator Catherine Clement and CEO of the Chinese Canadian Museum, Melissa Lee.

Thursday, May 23, 2024
5 to 7:30 p.m.

Join us afterwards for refreshments and a mural unveiling by local Chinese Canadian Artist EEPMON.

In July of 2023, the Chinese Canadian Museum launched the special exhibition The Paper Trail to the 1923 Chinese Exclusion Act, which will be on view in Vancouver until the end of 2024. The exhibition features hundreds of Chinese Immigration (C.I.) certificates, which were issued to Chinese people — the most ever to be displayed publicly — and speaks to the history of Chinese Canadians during the Chinese Immigration Act of 1923. The unveiling of EEPMON’s mural will address this heavy history.
