Timed Online Ticketing

The Canadian Museum of History is now open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and until 7 p.m. on Thursday. General admission fees have been reduced, and children ages 7 and under get in free.

We look forward to welcoming you back, with access to the Grand Hall, the Canadian History Hall, the Canadian Stamp Collection, the First Peoples Hall, the special display Highlights From the Rick Hansen Man In Motion World Tour Collection, and the special exhibition UNCEDED – Voices of the Land. Due to its highly interactive experience, the Canadian Children’s Museum remains temporarily closed. The CINÉ+ is also closed.

Following provincial guidelines, and to ensure a safe and memorable experience for all, we are limiting the number of visitors inside the Museum through timed online ticketing. Ticketing is every 30 minutes, with access limited to 50 people at a time.

Admission is free on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., but a timed ticket is required — book yours online as early as Monday of the week you would like to visit.

Please book your timed admission ticket:

  • Online
  • Through the Call Centre, Wednesday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Upon arrival, visitors with tickets purchased online can go directly to the exhibition entrance to have their tickets scanned.

If you have not booked in advance, or prefer to book in person, admission will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Box Office.

There are no restrictions on the length of your visit.
