Online Panel Discussion — Indigenous Internship Program

Plan Your Visit

Join us for a panel discussion organized in conjunction with the Indigenous Internship Program.

The Canadian Museum of History invites you to an event organized in conjunction with the Indigenous Internship Program. This panel discussion, which will be webcast, focuses in part on the impact of technology and social media on Indigenous cultural work today. In addition to bringing together Alumni of the Program, the discussion will be opened up to the online audiences, enabling you to ask questions to the panelists.

The Program, which celebrates its 31st anniversary this year, offers professional and technical training for First Nations, Métis and Inuit participants. It is the first and most comprehensive program of its kind in Canada. The goal of the Program is to develop ways for Indigenous nations across Canada to represent their own history and culture in concert with cultural institutions.

Since 1993, the Program has welcomed interns from over 40 different Indigenous nations across Canada. Graduates have gone on to become role models and advocates in museum and cultural sectors.

Join us to watch the livestreaming of the panel discussion, and to ask questions: webcast.
