Chatham Coloured All-Stars

The Chatham Coloured All-Stars were the first Black baseball team to win the provincial championship, in 1934. While the team consisted of many talented players, they encountered discrimination because of the colour of their skin. Their provincial win lifted the spirits of many Chatham community members, especially during the Depression era.
