Dr. Sarah Barnes on Sport and Climate Change
Climate change is the defining issue of our time. Seven in ten Canadians worry about climate change, with younger people expressing the greatest concern.
Join Dr. Sarah Barnes, Curator of Sport and Leisure, as she explores climate change through the lens of sport history. The discussion will consider how the Museum’s sport and leisure collections — including sports equipment, athletic textiles, and memorabilia from major events — can spark conversations and engagement with this urgent issue.
