The holidays are coming to life in a big way this year!

Published

Oct. 15, 2026

From November 26 to 29, 2026, the Canadian Museum of History will host its annual indoor Christmas Market, with nearly 100 talented artisans on site to provide a festive and relaxed holiday shopping experience! Visitors will discover delightful products and unique handcrafted creations, including artistic woodworking, glass items, gourmet food products, fine spirits, and original jewellery. Admission to the Market is free.

And, from December 10 to January 3, the grounds surrounding the Museum will transform into a winter playground, bringing the magic of the holidays to life! Visitors can board a miniature train for a tour around an enchanting Christmas Village, with its outdoor cinema, cookie factory, hot chocolate station, and towering 92-foot illuminated Christmas tree. Santa Claus will even make a daily appearance, creating lasting memories for the whole family. Visit our website for times and details.

Not nearby? You can visit the Museums from wherever you call home. Explore our websites for virtual tours, online exhibitions, podcasts, games, and more.

Whether you celebrate in person or visit from afar, join us for the magic this holiday season.
