Come bake a sweet treat with a pastry chef from Ottawa’s Scone Witch. We will show you how to mix, cut, and bake scones. Celebrate Victoria Day with a treat fit for royalty, and learn how this small Scottish cake became part of an afternoon tradition in the time of Queen Victoria. You’ll get a tasty scone and decorate a bakery bag to take it home in. Each workshop lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Pre-registration required on May 21 and 22 at the Children’s Museum. Workshops start every hour at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
