See Afghanistan through the eyes of internationally-renowned photo-journalist, Steve McCurry, in a gripping collection of photos.
With images like the blazing green gaze of an Afghan girl, McCurry deftly conveys the despair of war. Over a number of trips to Afghanistan, McCurry and his camera have borne witness to a people in pain and a country in distress.
As a special supplement to our exhibition, Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures, on until April 25th, the Canadian Museum of Civilization invites you to meet McCurry himself. Don’t miss this special opportunity to share his incredible journey into the heart of Afghanistan.
Steve McCurry’s talk will be followed by a book signing. Books and posters will be available for purchase on site, as well as refreshments.
English, with simultaneous translation in French.
