New measures for CINÉ+ and food services at the Canadian Museum of History

August 31, 2021

Gatineau, Quebec, August 31, 2021 — In accordance with the new directive from the Quebec government, the Canadian Museum of History will require proof of vaccination to access certain areas.

As of September 1, visitors aged 13 and up will be required to show vaccination passports (Quebec residents) or proof of vaccination (rest of Canada and international), as well as photo ID with address, to access the Museum’s food services, CINÉ+, or to attend events on site.

Proof of vaccination is not required to visit the exhibition spaces and other public areas of the Museum or our sister institution, the Canadian War Museum.

Thank you for your understanding in these exceptional circumstances. For more information about the vaccination passports, please visit the Quebec government’s website.

More information is available at historymuseum.ca or by calling 819-776-7000 or 1-800-555-5621.

Work of the Canadian Museum of History is made possible in part through financial support of the Government of Canada.
