Join us for a special evening marking the official opening of Wi’k+palu’k Sam Glodeo’q ta’n wetapeksitaq: Honouring the Belonging of Sam Glode.
Step into the lands and waters of Kespukwitk (Southwest Nova Scotia) and discover the Mi’kmaw ways of knowing that shaped the life of Sam Glode — a Mi’kmaw Knowledge Carrier, treaty protector, veteran, harvester and guide.
Immersive spaces, soundscapes, and interactive activities invite you to see, hear and feel the stories. Explore Sam’s decorated wartime service and his lifelong commitment to land stewardship, community leadership, and treaty advocacy — a legacy his family and Mi’kmaw communities continue today.
