A Métis from the Georgian Bay area, Cherie Dimaline is writer-in-residence at the University of Toronto’s First Nations House. Her first book, Red Rooms, was published in 2007, and a novel, The Girl Who Grew a Galaxy, will be in bookstores this year. The author also participates in the development of cultural and arts projects in Aboriginal communities in Ontario and Manitoba. 

Come and get to know this dynamic Métis author, who will be interviewed by Ojibway journalist Waubgeshig Rice.
