Red-Carpet Kids — DreamWorks Opening Weekend

Buy Tickets

Movie-themed activities and creative challenges for children of all ages, inspired by Shrek, Trolls and other Dreamworks features, plus an animated film workshop for older kids.

We’re launching the exhibition DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition with a special red-carpet party just for kids. Choose from fancy props to dress up like a movie star and pose for pictures with DreamWorks mascots Poppy and Branch. Instead of getting your hair done, create your own Trolls-style hairdo and adorn your own How to Train Your Dragon inspired shield! Decorate a gingerbread cookie inspired by Gingy, and ask a balloon artist to create the shape of your favourite DreamWorks character. Professionals from Algonquin College will lead a hands-on film workshop in which children ages 8 and up will learn about the magic of moving images by making and screening a short animated film.

Film Workshops 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. (Children Ages 8+)
