Expect to be invited on to the dance floor as the family foursome of Jaime and the Jiglets demonstrate the steps of high-energy Métis dances, including the ever-popular Heel Toe Polka. Elaine and Theland Kicknosway keep the crowd energized with traditional Cree singing, drumming and hoop dancing. And don’t miss the musical duo of Cynthia Pitsiulak and Charlotte Qamaniq, as they make the Grand Hall resonate with the beautiful sounds of traditional Inuit throat singing.
