Military Uniforms
At the Canadian War Museum, the
collection includes both working and dress military uniforms,
mostly from the First and Second World War and after,
representing all three services.
From the First World War, there is a working uniform worn by
Nursing Sister L.E. Galbraith [e.g. service dress jacket
20000105-090],
plus working and dress uniforms worn by Nursing Sister Alma
Florence Finnie [e.g. service dress jacket
20000105-006].
From the postwar period is a Royal Canadian Navy dress uniform
worn by Sub-Lieutenant Virginia Lindabury, ca. 1956, and a
post-1950 Royal Canadian Air Force khaki uniform worn by
Flight-Lieutenant Margaret McIntosh.
