1960   Connie joins the Fiorente Lodge of the Order Sons of Italy of Ontario.

1960   In December, Connie and Chris Bennedsen visit Denmark for the first time.

Early 1960s   Chris and Eric Skov visit Denmark.

Mid- to late 1960s   Chris and Connie return to Denmark.

1961   In January, Connie and Chris move into Connie’s parents home at 190 Arlington Avenue.

1966   Chris begins working for Sharp Sheet Metal on February 1; shortly thereafter he joins Local 30 of the Sheet Metal Workers, International Association.

Late 1960s   Ella Bennedsen marries Johnny Russell-Möller.

1970   On December 7, Chris Bennedsen starts work with Comstock International where he begins working on larger industrial and commercial buildings.
