From Songjiang, Shanghai. Graduated from the Shanghai Art College, Chinese Painting Department. Adept in drawing human figures, landscapes, flowers, birds, comic pictures, Chinese New Year Celebration Paintings and illustrations. His works often reflect the life of ethnic minorities of China. He developed a strong personal style through his rustic art. His works have been widely exhibited inside and outside China, winning numerous awards. He is now a Director of the Federation of Chinese Artists, a Director of the Shanghai Branch of the Federation of Chinese Artists and a committee member of the National Literary Union.
