From Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. Adept in idea-sketch painting of flowers, landscapes and human figures. He could make vivid descriptions of things in life through his paintings. His works have been included in many large-scale exhibitions inside and outside China. He has taught in the Peping Art College and was the Director of the Chinese Painting School of Beijing. He was also a member of the Federation of Chinese Artists.
