Nadlok and the Origin of the Copper Inuit


An ulu is a half-moon shaped metal or slate knife used by women to cut meat. Early ulus have blades inset directly in an antler handle, while later ulus have a separate blade, tange and handle attached with copper rivets. Link: Ulus.
