Kitselas

The village of Kitselas, or "People of the Canyon", is said to have been founded by the Gitksan people of Upper Skeena. Divided into two parts (Gitlaxdzawk and Gitsaex) which faced each other across the river, Kitselas was inhabited until about 1885.
