Indian Days and Parades
These articles of clothing show the variety of beadwork designs and colours worn by Native people from the Plains and Plateau. Both floral and geometric designs are commonly used in these regions. Shells such as the ones on the child's dress were important decorative items before the arrival of glass beads.
