Discover the new children’s outdoor playground!

The children’s outdoor playground on the grounds of the Canadian Museum of History is officially open — just in time for Canada Day! This multi-zone area is designed for children ages 18 months to 12 years, and features accessible play structures, creative and calm areas, and plenty of room for kids to climb, explore, and imagine.

Know before you visit

National Canada Day festivities will be held primarily at LeBreton Flats Park this year, with additional activities at other official sites.

Fireworks will not be visible from the Canadian Museum of History.

The Canadian War Museum will be open from 9 am to 7 pm, with free admission. Tickets are required. For more information on access and events at the War Museum, please visit warmuseum.ca.
