Dr. Jean Revez of the Univesité du Québec à Montréal examines the life and times of Akhenaten, who rules Egypt during the 14th century B.C.E.. Akhenaten’s attempt to establish an unusual religion within Egyptian society has made an exceptional – and controversial – figure in the history of Egypt.

Springtime in Japan means cherry blossoms, and it’s time to celebrate with a “picnic” under the sakura (cherry tree). Taste some sakura mochi (cherry blossom treats), and join our special guests throughout the week for a variety of workshops in martial arts, tie-dyeing, origami, doll-making, taiko drumming and more!
