Halloween’s happening at the Canadian Children’s Museum!

Gatineau, Quebec, October 11, 2006 — In October, the month leading up to the Day of the Dead, don’t miss out on Halloween activities celebrated Mexican style at the Canadian Children’s Museum in the Canadian Museum of Civilization. We’ve even made special plans for preschoolers! Come and create scary Halloween sounds with the dynamic duo Oreilles à la main, learn how to make calacas (dancing skeleton figures), parade through the village to the sound of the mariachis, or make a sugar skull in the Studio, all in the company of special guests from the Mexican-Canadian community. Developed in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico.
