Dance and Celebrate, Caribbean-Style!

Gatineau, Quebec, August 2, 2006 — The Canadian Children’s Museum invites you to take a “trip to the Caribbean” on the weekend of August 12 and 13, when you’ll drink in the music, colours and festive atmosphere of a tropical carnival! Begin by making your own carnival costume and animal mask, then get dressed up and listen to a steel-drum band as you dance to the rhythms of the Caribbean. The band will be performing on Saturday, August 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. On Sunday, August 13 at 1 p.m., you won’t want to miss the Caribe-Expo children’s carnival parade, a festival of music and dance.
