Join Ukrainian carollers for a winter celebration of traditional songs and merriment.
Members of the local Ukrainian Catholic community share their carolling tradition with a joyful combination of Ukrainian and Western songs. For Ukrainian Catholics and Orthodox Christians, Christmas is traditionally followed by 40 days of celebrations. Carolling is a highlight, bringing music and merriment to long winter nights. Carollers visit family and friends to sing seasonal songs. In return, people welcome them into their homes, give sweets to the children, and toast everyone's health and good fortune for the coming year.
