(A travelling exhibition financed by the Fondation Afrique en créations)

This exhibition features about a hundred paintings, by some fifty artists, evoking the epic that began with the arrival of the caravels at Môle-Saint-Nicolas on December 6, 1492, and continued with the 1791 revolution against slavery, the American occupation of 1915 to 1934, the Duvalier period, the democratic election of president Jean-Bertrand Aristide on December 16, 1990, and more recent events.
