Tunic

Melicent Hutchison (née Branch) OBE (1902-1981) was born to a family that included six generations of doctors. This lady graduated from the Royal Victoria School of Nursing (Montreal) in 1924. From 1940 to 1945 she was National Commandant, Nursing Division, Canadian Red Cross. Following the war she raised funds for the National Ballet of Canada and United Nations aid projects.
