The Ballroom Costumes

Miss Barnard, daughter of a Montreal lawyer, wore an ancestor's dress from the early nineteenth century. Her sister, Mme Jules Tessier, is also wearing an heirloom dress, although hers has not yet been identified in a museum collection. Both were part of the Lemoyne Family of Longueuil set at the Montreal Historical Ball.
