Puppets come to life in the Children’s Museum

Gatineau, Quebec, March 1, 2007 — On March 10 and 11, there will be a lot to discover about the exciting world of toys in a series of activities at the Canadian Children’s Museum, located in the Canadian Museum of Civilization. In the Studio, learn how to bring a puppet to life and create your own finger puppet, a toy you can use to tell a story and entertain your friends. Be sure to catch the performance by Tante Caroline and Noisette who will take you on an imaginary journey to encounter puppets from around the world.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Children’s Museum’s newest exhibition Top Secret: Mission Toy. It lets you explore, examine and learn about intriguing toys from around the world. Check out dolls and balls and secret codes, find out why tops are tops, and how string can be a fascinating thing. Presented until September 3, 2007.
