Multimedia Caricaturing

Gatineau, Quebec, July 17, 2007 — On July 21 and 22, come watch computerized caricature artist Fred Sebastian, political cartoonist for the Ottawa Citizen, manipulate features while capturing his subject’s essence. Famous Canadian personalities of the past were captured in exaggerated pen and ink editorial cartoons. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the modern techniques of digitized doodling!

This activity is presented in conjunction with the Canadian Museum of Civilization’s newest permanent exhibition, Face To Face: The Canadian Personalities Hall, which brings visitors face to face with 27 fascinating people whose decisions, actions and accomplishments shaped Canada. See who is behind Canadian history!
