More toys to enjoy in the Canadian Children’s Museum

Gatineau, Quebec, February 23, 2007 — Discover the exciting world of toys and games in a new series of activities at the Canadian Children’s Museum, located inside the Canadian Museum of Civilization. On Saturday March 3 and Sunday March 4, learn how to crate your own instrument using tubing, metal wire and beads. Then, use your toy to make special sound effects with our special guests from Oreille à la Main in the Children’s Museum’s new theatre.

This activity is presented in conjunction with the Children’s Museum’s latest exhibition, Top Secret: Mission Toy, on until September 3, 2007. Top Secret lets you explore, examine and learn about intriguing toys from around the world. Check out dolls and balls and secret codes, find out why tops are tops, and how string can be a fascinating thing.
