Let the Adventure begin!
Gatineau, Quebec, June 15, 2007 — Summer’s here, so the Canadian Children’s Museum is taking the fun outside! Adventure World, the Museum’s outdoor play area, opens for the season on Saturday, June 23.Adventure World is full of surprises, with games and activities for kids of all ages. You can challenge a friend to a game of chess or checkers on a giant board, play marbles or hopscotch or spin tops. Design and build your own boat, then test it on our pond, or become a pilot and land our plane.
There’s a Coast Guard Station where you can send a radio message to the captain of the Missinaibi tugboat. You can even go fishing off the dock or make a kite at Art-rageous Adventure!
Adventure World, located behind the Museum, will remain open until Labour Day, Monday Sept. 3, 2007.
