Cubic concert shows it’s hip to be square

Gatineau, Quebec, August 1, 2007 — Colour, sound, and Rubik’s Cubes — what a puzzling performance! But that’s exactly what you’ll see when Artificiel bring their unique audiovisual show and workshop to the Canadian Children’s Museum on August 11 and 12.

Explore the relationship between colour and sound as the Quebec techno group manipulates Rubik’s Cubes® and electronic gizmos to create a mesmerizing performance.

The Rubik’s Cube was invented in 1974 by Erno Rubik, a Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture. The iconic mechanical puzzle became a worldwide craze in the early 1980s.
