Create your very own Pop CD cover!
Gatineau, Quebec, April 19, 2007 — On April 28 and 29, head to the Canadian Postal Museum, located inside the Canadian Museum of Civilization to create a creative CD cover of your own. Local artist Marie-Pierre Kroestch will lead this activity and help you develop a cover inspired by your favourite pop icons. A creative workshop you won’t want to miss!This activity is presented in conjunction with The Post Goes Pop, the newest Canadian Postal Museum exhibition on display until January 6, 2008. This exhibition depicts the role played by the postal service in everyday life, and shows how much postal imagery, most often drawn from the past, shows up everywhere in popular culture.
