Gatineau, Quebec, February 6, 2015 — The Canadian Museum of History invites all Canadians to connect with their national history through a new blog being launched today.
The history blog at historymuseum.ca/blog will share stories from all areas of the Museum, including exhibitions, research, collections and conservation. The blog will also highlight the national collection and tell the stories behind the objects it contains. The blog will be a place for Canadians to learn, share and engage with the Museum and with each other on a variety of topics related to the history of our country.
As the Museum prepares for the opening of the new Canadian History Hall on July 1, 2017, the blog will also feature some of the behind-the-scenes work in the development of the exhibition.
