Coffee and Conversation: Nomads’ Land

Gatineau, Quebec, November 29, 2006 – On Saturday, December 9 join the curator of MASTERS of the Plains: Ancient Nomads of Russia and Canada Dr. Ian Dyck and exhibition designer Chantal Baril, for a guided tour of the Canadian Museum of Civilization’s newest exhibition. After the tour, enjoy a cup of coffee and the opportunity to discuss the exhibition with Dr. Dyck and Ms. Baril.

Masters of the Plains compares two of the oldest nomadic cultures in world history. It offers the first-ever direct comparison of the nomadic peoples who dominated the North American Great Prairies and the Russian Steppes for a remarkable 5,000 years.
