Canada Day is for kids!

Gatineau, Quebec, June 22, 2007 — It’s Canada’s 140th birthday, and you’re invited to the Canadian Children’s Museum to join in the celebrations all weekend long! There will be lots of great activities for kids of all ages on Saturday, June 30, Sunday, July 1 and Monday, July 2.

On Canada Day — July 1 — admission is free and the Children’s Museum will remain open until 7 p.m. to give you more time to enjoy the fun!

You’ll also get a chance to see the 13 finalists and the winner in the Canadian Heritage Canada Day Poster Challenge. Children from across Canada created posters celebrating Canada, with the judges’ top pick becoming the official 2007 Canada Day poster! The posters will be on display until September 3, 2007
