PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

For immediate release

Gatineau, Quebec, February 16, 2017 — Join us at the Canadian Museum of History on Thursday, February 23, for the 13th annual Héma-Québec blood drive. Donors will enjoy free parking and admission to the Museum. The blood clinic will take place in the Museum’s Marius Barbeau Lobby, where donors can relax while they give the gift of life.

Héma-Québec is the only organization in Quebec responsible for the management of the province’s blood bank. Every day, hospital centres require blood components, by-products of blood donations to treat their patients. It is often a matter of life or death. The simple act of giving blood, which takes about an hour, can help save up to four lives.
