Their unique performances are both powerful in their expression and beautiful in their simplicity. This is a performance not to be missed! The Kiyoshi Nagata Ensemble has performed in theatres, concert halls, universities and major music festivals throughout Canada, the US and Italy. Combining thunderous, primal drumbeats with subtle, intricate rhythms, the Toronto-based ensemble is able to produce a wide spectrum of sounds. With their vast array of Japanese taikos, gongs, bells, wooden clappers, shakers and bamboo flutes, the Kiyoshi Nagata Ensemble will take you on a musical journey beyond all borders.
