Creative Writing with Haiku Poetry at the Canadian Postal Museum
Gatineau, Quebec, January 5, 2006 – Join us for an exciting workshop on Creative Writing where you will learn all about haiku poetry and the wonder of words at the Canadian Postal Museum in the Canadian Museum of Civilization. On January 15, André Duhaime, who will lead the French workshop, and Terry Ann Carter, leader of the English workshop, will introduce you to this special form of writing that will help you discover the power of words and create original texts.Creative Writing

André Duhaime has been interested in haiku since the early 80s and enjoys teaching it whenever he has the opportunity. Here is one of his original haiku poems:

Terry Ann Carter has published haiku in Canada, the U.S., Japan, and Romania and participated in the Basho Festival in Ueno, Japan in 2004. She is Vice-President of Haiku Canada. Here is one of her original haiku poems:
