The Museum of Civilization and the War Museum are showcasing their artifacts on Canada’s Got Treasures: Share your Treasures Canada!

Gatineau, Quebec, May 19, 2010 — The launch of Canada’s Got Treasures!, a new interactive website, was announced yesterday by the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages. The project is a partnership between the Virtual Museum of Canada and Canada’s national Museums, including the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum, as well as Library and Archives Canada and the National Capital Commission.

Canada’s Got Treasures is an innovative and interactive online space showcasing significant treasures from our national collections. This website invites Canadians and heritage institutions to share photos and videos of their own personal treasures at www.virtualmuseum.ca/treasures.
