Hear stories from the memoirs of noted Ottawa philanthropist Grete Hale, author of Baker’s Daughter: The story of a long, rich and very Canadian life. The experiences of this remarkable woman are entertaining and inspiring, and evoke the rich history of Canada and our community.

Throughout the world, many countries have special days celebrating the value and importance of children. Join us as we mark Children’s Day in Japan with art, games and tasty treats!

Studio and Kaleidoscope
Jump-start your imagination and stretch your creative thinking skills with our drop-in workshops. The theme for the whole month of May is Flower Power! Activities for ages 5 and up.
