Dragons and Tigers and Pigs, Oh my!

Gatineau, Quebec, May 15, 2007 — On May 20, join Mr. Haisheng Zhao, the Cultural Counsellor from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, at the Canadian Museum of Civilization for a presentation on the origin and meaning of the Chinese zodiac signs. Mr. Zhao will help participants discover their own zodiac sign and what it signifies.

This activity is presented in conjunction with the Museum’s newest exhibition Treasures from China where visitors will see some of civilization’s finest artifacts, illuminating the rich history and achievements of the Chinese people. The exhibition is presented from May 11 to October 28, 2007.
