Create a Unique! sculpture in a clay workshop

Gatineau, Quebec, March 28, 2007 — On Saturday, April 7, head to the Canadian Museum of Civilization for a clay sculpture workshop with local artist Erin Robertson, who will show participants how to create small creatures out of clay. Erin Robertson has been teaching drawing, painting and sculpture at the Ottawa School of Art for several years. Her work has been collected and exhibited in North America and Europe.

This activity is presented in conjunction with Unique! 30 Years of Outstanding Crafts. This temporary exhibition displays some of Canada’s most stunning and original handcrafted pieces, from elegant furniture to delicate glassware, made by the country’s most accomplished and creative craftspeople. Unique! is presented until August 5, 2007.
