Wave EatersConservation of a Kayak

During the Diamond Jenness and the Inuit exhibit the kayak was unfortunately the victime of acts of vandalism, one of which was quite serious. With nothing more than a "psychological barrier" to protect the watercraft, a child was quite easily able to try walking on the kayak. The skin, which is particularly fragile, was broken through at the bow over an area covering 40 square centimetres.
