The tallest outdoor Christmas tree in the region will be at the Canadian Museum of History

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

For immediate release

Gatineau, Québec, November 30, 2016 — The tallest outdoor Christmas tree in the region will shine brightly throughout the holiday season at the Canadian Museum of History. Join us on December 6 at 6 p.m. for the official lighting of the tree.

Adorned with red and white coloured lights to mark the 150th anniversary of Confederation, the Christmas tree, which stands 14.3 metres high, will shine from the first lighting until January 8, 2017.

During the inaugural illumination event, members of the public will be offered complimentary hot chocolate and Beaver Bites until 6:30 p.m.

Join us for this first lighting and enjoy Christmas carols from the Conservatoire de musique de Gatineau. Hot chocolate and Beaver Bites will be served until 6:30 p.m.
