Three Drawer Stand/Table

Immigrants from the United Kingdom and Ireland settled in many communities across Southwestern Ontario, and this three drawer stand/table was undoubtedly patterned after the Regency furnishings popular in Europe between 1810 and 1830. The combination of bird’s-eye maple with a hardwood such as cherry or walnut was a popular feature during the mid-1800s.
