Small Chest of Drawers With Bracket Feet

Chests of this style were made in England, the United States and, to a much lesser degree, Canada. The use of birch and white pine, coupled with the type of cut nails used in the back, would indicate that it was constructed during the early 1800s, probably in Nova Scotia. American examples of this form usually date from a slightly earlier period.
