Comb Back Armchair

The term “comb back” refers to the extended back found on this rustic chair, which was patterned after the more elaborate Windsor chairs of the mid- to late 1700s. This example was passed down in the Reesor family, who were among the earliest settlers in Markham Township, Ontario.
