Explore Indigenous history this Winterlude.

Join us as we celebrate the first two weekends of Winterlude with a focus on Indigenous history. Drop by the Canadian History Hall to explore Indigenous history during the fur trade — handle beaver pelts and hide scrapers, get hands-on with Métis beadwork and learn about the important role played by women during the fur trade. Or take a trip to the Arctic without leaving the Museum! You will feel the warmth and practical strength of caribou and sealskin clothing made and worn by the Inuit. Have fun with your family this Winterlude, and experience first-hand the resilience of Indigenous peoples.
