Join us as we celebrate the first two weekends of Winterlude with a focus on Indigenous history. Drop by the Canadian History Hall to explore Indigenous history during the fur trade — handle beaver pelts and hide scrapers, get hands-on with Métis beadwork and learn about the important role played by women during the fur trade. Or take a trip to the Arctic without leaving the Museum! You will feel the warmth and practical strength of caribou and sealskin clothing made and worn by the Inuit.
